King of Kings Lutheran Church

Missouri Synod Lutheran

The Vision of King of Kings Lutheran Church is to be a congregation where everyone has a great commitment to the Great Commandment:

"love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind ...Love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 21:36,39

and the Great Commission:

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Mathew 28:19-20

From the very beginning, we have been working to make our church welcoming and inviting to those who do not have a church home, who have never been a part of a church, and those who are looking for a familiar message and ministry. God has brought us together to serve you and others like you so that one day you also will be equipped to serve others as well. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the joy we have found in our relationship with Jesus, our best friend. Our prayer is that you would find that joy too! We invite you to join us as we live out our vision by fulfilling the mission of King of Kings.

We confess our faith with the words of the Apostolic Creed and with words of Nicene Creed.

Members and guests are welcome to receive the Lord's Supper who:
- Believe in Jesus as their Savior from sin;
- Are sorry for their sin; desire to change from their sinful habits and;
- Believe that the body and blood of Jesus are present with the bread and wine, and together are received for the forgiveness of sins.

Persons with questions about the Lord's Supper are encouraged to speak with the pastor or an elder. Children who have not been confirmed, or taken the Early Communion class, may accompany their parents and receive a blessing. White grape juice is served in the center of each tray out of respect for those who cannot consume alcohol.

King of Kings encourages worshipers to devote some time for Christian fellowship in the form of small group Bible studies.
